happy (hot) weekend!

I thought I would end this week of blogging with a short list of my current obsessions. Enjoy my ramblings and musings 🙂

the messy top knot
being more of a prep tomboy then a girly-girl, the teasing was a revelation. google videos for a how-to, there a dozens of options. you can click the link above to watch the one i did.

wedges You get the height with none of the back pain! I love them.

peaches! believe it or not i had never had a fresh peach before. never actually bitten into one. joey bought some the other day and after i asked him (ridiculously) how i was supposed to eat it, i am hooked.

street fashion style blogs
shut up i love that shirt on you
lovely pepa
good life for less
spicy candy dc
the coveted
a beautiful mess (this blog just rocks in any and every sense, definitely check it out)
the sartorialist (duh, that’s a no-brainer)

pandora….(i know i am way behind on this trend) So far on the “mumford + sons” station i have heard 3 mumford songs that aren’t on the album, that i can’t find anywhere else. i’m intrigued.

i will play my first adult league kickball game this sunday. i am not terribly athletic (don’t laugh), so it should be funny for all. at least i hear the team isn’t too competitive. (fingers crossed!)

and last but certainly not least, air conditioning! we have a brand spankin new unit and i am loving every minute of the 73 degrees it is pumping out. it’s currently 103 here in the dc area. i hope everyone is staying cool indoors!

(good-man indeed!)
